Roger found a new home

Sometimes when we create a project, it doesn't live up to our own quality standards, but we know a piece can still be appreciated and find a loving home, defects and all, and that's the case with Roger, our first B1 droid prototype who was recently disassembled and packed off to his new home in Porirua.

This life-sized B1 Droid stood a whopping 6.3ft (1920mm) with many of his appendages able to be posed and moved.

We like to think that while this B1 doesn't have any battle-experience and is fresh off the factory floor, he didn't pass his quality-assurance tests and has some cosmetic defects that didn't meet our standards. He's not perfect, but the Empire doesn't waste, and he has become a great companion in a new home with another Star Wars enthusiast.
